Filipino tech maven speaks before University of Baguio students

Aldo Carrascoso, co-founder and chief operating officer of the San Francisco-based payment service provider Align Commerce, recently spoke before University of Baguio (UB) students, sharing his thoughts on entrepreneurship and technology.

 

Students and teachers from the different schools of UB attended the event. Carrascoso engaged the students by answering their questions on subjects such as the influences he had and the challenges he faced and by giving tips and advice. He spoke about his early experience with entrepreneurship and technology, his views on how to pursue entrepreneurial ideas, and emerging developments technology is heading towards.

 

Before Align Commerce, he was the founder of Verego.com, a business-to-business matchmaking platform; co-founder of Coalescent Resourcing Inc., a company focused on enterprise integration; technical founder of Jukin Media Inc., a company allowing media creators to monetize their content and take it to a larger audience; and technical founder of JukinVideo.com, an automated platform for sharing and selling proprietary content.
