We welcome the new school year with Wadah here, who describes himself as “one who’s really hooked on learning,” and he doesn’t care what’s it about. Apparently, among others, he loves learning about style.

One’s style preferences can cover a range of genres and moods. For Wadah, his preferences range from formal to casual, down to the dress-down ensemble. But his favorite – the classic casual look created by a white button-down shirt and jeans – highlights the spectrum.

Currently addicted to: Learning

I love learning and it doesn't really matter what it is about.

Binge-watches: Prison Break

Comfort activity: Travelling

Listens to a lot of: Hip hop and pop rock

Caught the fashion bug at: 15

Style principle: Dress for yourself and not for anyone else.

Favorite go-to look: Timberland boots (they’re a classic); denim pants, and a loose buttoned white shirt

The look maintains a balance between smart and casual.

One tip we can get from Wadah’s choice of wardrobe is that right fit always wins the day. Says designer Oliver Spencer, “Pay attention to good fitting. It’s everything.”

For tops, the vertical seams should sit just where your shoulders meet your arms. You don’t want them to droop. Tailored items do the trick – always. For bottoms, your pants should be comfortably snug. The thigh part should fit closely, but not enough to show too much leg definition. In addition, as a general rule of thumb, for a regular guy, with a more conventional body shape, it’s important that the proportions of the item are right.

So, there, fellas, we welcome school year 2018-2019 with the right fit. x
