The Bachelor of Arts in Music program offers a comprehensive art education with emphasis on training in music. Generally, the program provides basic experience and knowledge in musical work, theory and techniques with a focus on music education, performance and musicology.

Graduates of this program may pursue a successful career in the field of music either as a performer or a teacher or both. In particular, graduates of BA Music can be classroom teachers, composers, song writers, arrangers, orchestrators, musical directors, music therapists, cultural workers, music artists, repertoire programmers or conductors (Choir, Band, Rondalla, and Orchestra).

MUSIC EXTENSION PROGRAM

 

The University offers music extension classes which cover the following specializations:

 

Short courses in music theory, composition, and choral reading are likewise offered.
