SOD Sends Off Board-Passers and Topnotcher with Ceremonial Bell-Ringing

The University of Baguio once again proudly sends off another batch of bright young professionals, this time from the School of Dentistry (SOD).

A total of thirty-two (32) students from the university passed this round of board examinations, with Ms. Ma. Alyssa Carlos Tagata taking the Top Eight spot in the overall nationwide ranking.

In celebration of this momentous occasion, the board passers – led by Ms. Tagata, SOD Dean Dr. Ian Steve Bandaay, and UB President Engr. Javier Herminio Bautista – all stood by the university bell and gave it a grand ceremonial ring that conveyed their sense of pride and celebration. Students and faculty members from the School of Dentistry enthusiastically broke out into uproarious applause at the sight, clamoring in unbridled support for the achievements of their alumni.

Always pray, and at the same time, I know how hard it is (na) to go through the course of dentistry but keep on lang. You’re almost there, especially for those who will be taking the board exam. And eventually, you’ll get there din to be a dentist.”
