This study delved into the possibility of making chrysanthemum roots, leaves and flower petals as eradicators of mosquito wrigglers. Extracts of the chrysanthemum roots, leaves and flower petals soaked in 70% ethyl alcohol were used to exterminate the mosquito larvae. The wrigglers were grouped into ten and placed in eight petri dishes. Thirty drops from 5 mL chrysanthemum roots, leaves, and extracts from the flower petals, together with Baygon, were dropped on each petri dish. For 10 minutes, the reactions of the mosquito wrigglers were observed. It was noted by the researchers that within 10 minutes after the extracts were poured, half or most of the mosquito wrigglers died. However, after an hour, most of the mosquito wrigglers died and a few were still struggling to live. The extracts of the chrysanthemum roots, leaves and flower petals prove to be effective in eradicating mosquito larvae.
