UB employees battle it out in showdown

The competition included two categories – the sing and dance category and the modern dance category.

The School of Natural Sciences emerged as the champion in the sing and dance category. Meanwhile, the School of Nursing placed second while the Senior High School Department ranked third.

On the other hand, the School of International Hospitality and Tourism Management grabbed the championship for their summer-themed presentation for the modern dance category. The UB Laboratory Elementary School finished second while the School of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences landed third.

Performances in the sing and dance category evoked a nostalgic feeling as Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child impressions were rendered by the participants while modern dance contestants jived to Lavaado’s 2018 smash single “Switch It Up.”

UB President Engr. Javier Herminio Bautista, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Janice Kaylyn Lonogan, Vice President for Finance Johann Ben Bautista, Vice President for Administration Atty. Rommel Ayson and Vice President for Institutional and External Affairs Dr. Esmeralda Gatchallan were present at the event.
