The UB participants at the financial technology seminar
Gathering together students, executives, and specialists, a seminar dubbed “Networking Night” was held at the University of Baguio (UB) Centennial Hall last Feb. 2.
The seminar included talks on financial technology, given by Andrew Cua, chief executive officer of the digital booking platform Tralulu; Edison Tsai, executive director of the financing solutions company SeedIn Technology; Mark Go, founder of Berkeley School Baguio; Dr. Dionisio Claridad, a certified medical specialist; Maria Dulce Calija of COL Financial-Ilocos; and Heinrich Maulbecker, a hotel and tourism professional.
Students from the UB School of Business Administration and Accountancy participated in the seminar, namely Bea Patrice Aquino, Mercola Bulangen, Henna Mei De Chavez, Jesselle Canlas, Rossielyn Claire Corpuz, Jeremiah Corral, Aldwin Alexis Estepa, Micah Ellah Felizardo, Carla Mae Herreria, Kendrix Ellis Laoyan, Janine Paula Makabali, Junjunell Maticquen, Kevin Chester Orduña, Czara Jamille Riolada, and Lendl Ian Zambrano.
Meanwhile, Daisy Agas, Patricia Mae Cervas, Jaypee Og-oget, John Eris Sabado, Kenneth Teofilo, Eileen Jane Veloso won the case analysis competition held as part of the event.
