On its second year, the University of Baguio (UB) Halloween Parade touched on the characters of Philippine folklore. The parade, which drew a crowd of tourists and locals, had the primary aim of cultivating the community's appreciation for culture and the arts. It also sought to demonstrate the value of a balanced quality education by infusing some fun vibe into the equation.
UB students and employees participated in the parade, held on Oct. 27 along Session Road. A music concert kicked off the event, followed by the parade. Stage performances by the participants – which covered 29 groups – served as the activity's highlight.
The activity was held in coordination with the city government of Baguio, Department of Tourism - CAR, and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Baguio.
