STE studes present in int’l seminar-workshop

Students and faculty members of the University of Baguio (UB) School of Teacher Education have attended the International Convention and Seminar-Workshop on Teaching and Learning held at Crown Legacy Hotel on Nov. 16-18. 


Four of the students presented their researches at the convention, as follows:


Ronna P. Padua

“Phytochemical Screening and Antimicrobial Activity of Himbabao (B.luzonica) Leaf Extract against the Growth of Escherichia coli (E.coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S.aureus)”


Jamal V. Lucero

“The Antimicrobial Property of Telosma procumbens Leaf and Flower Extracts against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli”


Joshua Carlo S. Caccam and Leonila C. Iba

“The Divine Intervention of the Mambunong on the Peculiar Encounters of the Ibaloi Families in Tublay, Benguet”


Meanwhile, Dr. Vilma Deponio did a demo teaching during the convention.


The convention, which had the theme “Effective Instructional Management Practices in Inclusive Education,” was organized by the Philippine Association for Pre-Service Teachers Inc. and was granted 10 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) units by the Professional Regulation Commission.
