STE lands 2nd in academic olympics

The School of Teacher Education (STE) landed second overall during Academic Olympics held at the RCB Dome last Sept.27, beating seven other departments in the University.


Among the point earners were Jamby Baldago who won first place in quiz bee, Jeremias Mendoza who finished first in dagliang pagtalakay, Mark Aaron Sarno who won second in oration, Nehemiah Paul Villena who secured the second place in extemporaneous speech, Karyll Jane Doctor who garnered second place in quiz bee, and Mariel Rillera who landed third in essay writing.


Other STE participants in the competition were Jefferson Seguin for talumpati, Joshua Bati for quiz bee, and Megan Bandoc and Mary Joy Dallo for essay writing.
