The University of Baguio (UB) hosted the 28th Council of Management Educators and Practitioners in the Philippines (COMEPP) National Convention held at Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City last Sept. 27 - 28.
With the theme “Educational Challenges in Building Sustainable Development Goals,” the convention gathered educators, professionals and students to engage in insightful exchanges regarding the best ways to effectively respond to the demands of the changing educational landscape.
This year’s convention was graced by prominent personalities in the academe, business, and politics.
Extemporaneous business speech competition and quiz bee were likewise held as part of the event. A singing contest also fun to the convention.
Five students from the UB School of Business Administration and Accountancy, along with their adviser, served as the event’s support staff. They were in charge of assisting the organizers from the setting-up to the packing-up.
With a distinguished line-up of speakers, the participants were given the opportunity to gain insights from the experiences of business executives and understand how businesses are managed. They were also updated on the emerging trends, challenges, best practices and innovations in business management. – Kali Yantrel Martin
