UB inks scholarship agreement with Carmudi Philippines

The University of Baguio (UB) and Carmudi Philippines, an online car marketplace, have inked an agreement on a scholarship program for underprivileged deserving students.

The program is open to currently enrolled third or fourth year students with a minimum general weighted average of 3.5 or Latin honors.

The financial assistance – which amounts to 30,000 and is good for one semester – covers tuition, daily food and transportation allowance, school projects and other miscellaneous expenses.

One scholar from the University shall be chosen. Requirements include a 500-word letter of intent, copy of valid student ID or a reference letter from the University stating the student applicant’s study program and dates of attendance, copy of transcript or records indicating the applicant’s general weighted average, and certificate of endorsement from the University.

Application shall be done electronically: http://www.carmudi.com.ph/scholarship/
