The University of Baguio (UB) bagged the championship award in the marketing plan competition dubbed “Ang Henyong Marketista” held at Mariano Marcos State University in Batac, Ilocos Norte last Oct. 28.
The marketing plan was presented by Aldwin Estepa, David Gatdula, and Abelardo Lang-ay Jr. from the UB School of Business Administration and Accountancy Junior Association of Marketing Executives.
Likewise, Estepa ruled the question-and-answer marketing competition “The Juan.” Estepa’s answer made him emerge as the winner from among 13 contestants.
Representatives from Tralulu, an online travel service company, served as judges.
The winners were presented with certificates and treats.
The competition, participated in by students from around North Luzon, is part of an event called “Juan Big Idea: Ang Pagtuklas ng Makabagong Marketista – North Luzon Expedition” organized by the Philippine Junior Marketing Association - North Luzon Chapter. – Aldwin Estepa
