The University of Baguio (UB) has participated in this year’s Brigada Eskwela at the Lindawan National High School and Lindawan Elementary School, two of UB’s adopted schools, last May 23-27.
Spearheaded by the UB Extension and Community Outreach Services office, in collaboration with the UB Campus Planning and Development Office and the UB Library Department, the Brigada Eskwela allowed for preparations prior to the opening of classes. Staff of the said UB offices helped prepare the school buildings and the surroundings ready for the new school year.
Books were also donated to the said schools.
Meanwhile, the following schools received financial assistance from UB: Alejo Pacalso Memorial High School (UB’s adopted school), Apolinario Mabini Elementary School, Baguio Central School, Baguio City High School – Hillside Annex, Crystal Cave Elementary School, Fairview Elementary School, Magsaysay National High School, Quezon Hill Elementary School, and San Vicente Integrated Senior High School.
The UB volunteers also painted the wall enclosures at Lindawan Elementary School and Lindawan National High School.
