Administrators of the Krasae Pattana School and the University of Baguio sign the agreement in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
The University of Baguio (UB) has signed an agreement with two Thailand schools for its international student teaching program.
In September last year, UB inked a memorandum of agreement with the College of Asian Scholars (CAS), a private college in Khon Kaen, Thailand, renewing the UB – CAS academic ties. The program, which has been in place for years now, enables UB to send student teachers to CAS for five months of student teaching. The UB student teachers are each assigned a teacher supervisor who shall provide guidance, direction, and constructive criticism for the trainees.
Meanwhile, last March 4, UB has signed a similar agreement with Krasae Pattana School, also based in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Krasae Pattana School shall likewise accommodate student trainees from the UB School of Teacher Education.
Apart from Thailand, UB has established partnerships with other schools in the Southeast Asian region including Japan and South Korea.
