UB studes scoop awards in nat'l criminology congress

Students from the University of Baguio (UB) School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety participated in the 6th National Criminology Students Congress with the theme “Shaping the Philippine Criminology Profession, Our Mission, Our Obligation” held at De La Salle University – Dasmarinas, Cavite on Sept. 18 – 20.


UB, represented by Narcilisa Talipnao and Andrea Nicole Plete, second year and fourth year Criminology students, respectively, ranked fourth in the quiz bee held as part of the congress.


Likewise, Plete was presented the 2019 Top Outstanding Criminology Student of the Philippines award.


Talipnao and Plete were coached by Rolly Herida Jr. and Claire Rufino. 


Other UB participants were Cinder Kisofen, Joyce Ann Paras and Jerome Hope Paganas.


Students from 39 criminology schools in the Philippines attended and competed in the said congress. – Nicole Oani, Erickson Cimatu, Carmela Aping and Cinder Kisofen
