What We Do

MEDICAL CLINIC (ROOM F115)

  • Free Consultation with Free Medicine for 2 days if available
  • Minor Surgery (as scheduled): Excision, Circumcision, etc.
  • Facilitation of Accident Insurance
  • Vaccinations
  • Health Certificates for OJTs, Practicum, competitions, and clinical exposure
  • Support Staff during Immersion Camps, Survival Camps, and University Activities

DENTAL CLINIC (ROOM F115)

  • Free consultation
  • Free check-up
  • Free tooth extraction (simple extraction)
  • All other dental procedures are done but with a corresponding fee:
  • Root canal
  • Oral prophylaxis
  • Dental prosthesis

CLINICAL LABORATORY SERVICES (ROOM F102)

Clinical laboratory services are tests provided by a medical lab that aid in diagnosis and treatment of patients. There are many types of clinical laboratory services, including:
  • blood count
  • urinalysis
  • cholesterol tests
  • hemoglobin tests, etc.

RADIOLOGY CLINIC (ROOM F101)

  • Medical X-ray
  • Dental X-ray
  • Panoramic

Other Services

CONSULTATION PROCEDURE

Proceed to the Clinic Student Assistants on duty and present your validated ID.
Get your Patient’s card. Fill out a patient’s card if new patient.
Verbalize your complaints or reason for consultation to the Clinic Nurse on duty.
Have your vital signs recorded. Proceed to the Physician for check-up and get your medicine (if available) from the Clinic Nurse.

MEDICAL CERTIFICATE

Issued if you were seen by the University MD and was sent home.
If seen by another MD, present a valid Medical Certificate from the MD.
If hospitalized, get a valid Medical Certificate from the hospital.
DO NOT go home unless instructed by the MD.

PHYSICAL / MEDICAL EXAMINATION

FOR LOCAL OJT/PRACTICUM:

  1. FOR SIHTM STUDENTS
    1. Proceed to the Baguio Health Department for the initial laboratoryl examination.
    2. Collect all the results (CBC, Urinalysis, Chest X-Ray, and Fecalysis).
  1. FOR OTHER STUDENTS
    1. Proceed to the Medical Clinic to obtain your checklist and undergo the laboratory procedures.
    2. Collate above results then the University Doctor will assess you.If all the above are within the normal limits, issuance of Health Certificate.
    3. If one or more parameters are not normal, Health Certificate is withheld until after the treatment.The patient may be referred to a Specialist for further diagnostic examinations.

FOR INTERNATIONAL OJT:

  1. Present the endorsement letter to the Medical Clinic Staff and obtain a Physical Examination checklist.
  2. Undergo the different laboratory examinations in the checklist.
  3. Collate the results of the above mentioned laboratory tests and present to the Clinic Student Assistants.
  4. Proceed to the Medical Doctor for the Physical Examination and issuance of Health Certificate.
