The mission of the Bachelor of Arts in Music program is to offer a comprehensive art education with emphasis on training in music. The mission of the University, which is to produce graduates and provide lifelong learning opportunities, is also the foundation of this program since AB Music can also prepare students for careers outside the music field.
Generally, the program provides basic experience and knowledge in musical work, theory, and techniques with a focus on music education, performance, and musicology (the academic study of music and history). This program will increase student learning by promoting learning that fully develops individual potential and produces nationally and globally competitive graduates for the workforce, developing an increasingly diverse, academically talented, and achievement-oriented student population especially In Northern Luzon.
